A few days ago we came back from Murugama. The village surrounded by a forest, hill and reservoir. Heard the call of the cocilla from the veranda of clay house - everything made an amazing photo of nature.
Murugama's main attraction is Murugama Dam and Lake, Very big and one of the most beautiful Dam in the Ajodhya Hill area.
We start from Howrah at 11 pm by Chakradharpur Passenger, took our dinner with luchi - chicken curry. Then sleep in our respective bearth.
Early morning at around 7 am, we reached Purulia station. From there, hire a car and went for the nature hunt. On the way the red Palash trees fell in sight, the red dust of red soil appeared in the eyes.
At around 8.30 am, we reached Muruguma, our final destination. We already arranged for a home-stay, but anyone can stay their at Ban Palashi Eco Resort or ? Eco Resort. After a quick bath, we walk for the dam. What we saw was a magnificent view. For a moment we thought we were in a village of Europe.
We stroll around the lake. We found some local lady with their duck-links. We enjoyed with duck-links very much.
At around 4 pm, we get back to our homestay, took lunch and took nap for just 30 minutes. Around 6 pm, we stroll to the tribal village.
